For the groups review. Will submit this November 11

To the Editor:

As a portion of our country celebrates the change in many representatives in Washington, D.C., our State Houses, and Governors offices, we should be even more vigilant of those in power. Many of my desired candidates did not win their elections, as many were representing the Libertarian Party, the third largest political party in our country. What I did vote for was limited government, more individual freedoms, and as well a statement that those in power will be held accountable for their words and actions.

Many voters expressed concern for far reaching and over reaching powers that have come from our Federal government and even state houses. If this were the case overall, why didn’t we as a country, state, and local voters push for a removal of all those that have led to the increased size of government? However, it seems to be solely the blame of Democrats.

Republicans caused a huge increase in government spending while having full control of all aspects of our federal government. Now that they some power to limit spending, keep taxes low, and to reduce the size of government, we should stand tough against them and the Democrats in elected office if they fail to live up to the supposed principles they claim. Waiting in the wings will be the real Party of the People, the Party of Principle, representing Minimum Government and Maximum Freedoms, the Libertarian Party.

Thank you,

Nathan Eberly
